The Tisch Drama Undergraduate Costume Shop is a place carved out little by little, borne out of passion for craftsmanship and design education. Through interviews and historical accounts we learn The Shop represents so much more than meets the eye.
My film is about the culture, history, and construction of the Tisch Drama Costume Shop. I want to explore the shop, its people, its stories, and through that, find what it means to make a home for yourself as an artist, the magic in the everyday, and the importance and celebration of design education. Through interviews with faculty, I want to give an informative insight into the process of its creation while also revealing common-held emotionality
