My name is Sofie (she/her), and I am an aspiring visual storyteller with a deep love and curiosity for all areas of production and design for theatre, film & TV, fashion, and live events.
As a Designer, I believe my strength is my service and attention to story, with a strong emphasis on process over product. The most gratifying aspect of my passion is finding creative solutions with creative people.
My background as a Stage Manager and producer fuels my belief that the story of the theatrical production extends to the stories of the people making it. To me, the how is equally important as the why.
I express my creativity in the organization as much as I do in the generation of the stories I tell! I find my spreadsheets and thumbnail sketches equally satisfying.
Today, I am aspiring to grow my strengths as an assistant, whether that be for TV & Film, theatre, or live events, and infuse more of my management training into the design process.
