Something is not quite right in the town of Big Cherry, and you’re never quite sure what it is. When reviewing the play, the NY Times called it “an official history of American Horror.” It might as well also be the horror of American history itself…What you are going to watch is a history play. But not in the way you think. It is also a horror play, but also not quite in the way you think. It is a comedy, but not in a good way. It is a dark play, but not in a bad way. I feel lucky to revisit this play with these remarkable actors and creatives, exploring what it means to look backward to imagine the future, and to look forward by remembering the past. Here’s to your future.

– Attilio Rigotti, Director
